Chapter 3

Fireboy could be seen sitting at the top of a redundant volcanic mountain

He couldn't come to terms that he left me to die at the research institute

The more his thought grew
The more hotter he got

He had been breathing fire into the mountain as a way of letting out his anger

Finally he decided
There was no use living in a world without me and if he couldn't defeat the virus with his powers then no one else could

Fireboy approached the edge of the mountain and looked down into the dark hole

With a long deep breath

Fireboy jumped into the hole screaming in anger

He hadn't gone far before his whole body began to turn red and suddenly his whole body was consumed by fire

His fire was so bright he brought light into the hole, his fire consumed the darkness like a volcanic eruption he could now see around the hole

There was no stopping from his leap and he decided to add a dash to his speed which made him even hotter and he could feel himself evaporate and turn into pure fire

Finally there was an end but that wasn't going to stop Fireboy from going further

On impact there was a loud explosion around the mountain and the then dark volcanic mountain was as bright as the sun

Fireboy had created an opening while hitting the floor of the volcano

He had found his way to the underground world of the fire people.

He was in another world

Made of just lava and fire

He could see other fire beings in there
He had attracted the attention of the fire beings by his entrance

All eyes was on him

Fireboy had never seen anything like it before

He was consumed by fear and thought he was dead

He's first instinct was to dash back up
But he was too weak from the fall

His eyes got blurry
Then his legs began to shake
He couldn't move

With a low thud

Fireboy fell to the ground .

I woke up With a blurry sight
Trying to figure out where I was and how I was still alive

I was alone in a room surrounded with herbs and a patched up stomach

Then I remembered how I was shot by the captain

I looked around trying to figure out how I could have possibly survived the captain's kill shot

Am I in heaven,
Am I dead
I said to myself

I got out of bed staggering to the only exit in the room

Still holding my patched up stomach

I managed to open the door with a soft push

It was morning, I was surrounded by tents and people freely roaming around

I hadn't fully caught my breathe when I saw the captain and a lady with a bowl filled with leaves

They both looked at me and laughed.

The captain turned around and went the other way while the lady began to approach me

I didn't know if I was to run or wait for her
What would a lady holding a plate do to me I thought

She got closer, took a look at my stomach
And told me I shouldn't be up yet and offered to escort me back into the room

I wasn't ready to be treated like a child so I said to her that I was fine and further explained that I could remember getting shot by the captain

She dropped the bowl and laughed and introduced herself

My name is bika, I'm a doctor a nutritionist, a biochemist, a pharmacist
And a soldier of music

The last title sounds familiar I said

Bika was not ready for my questions so she told me

She won't be answering any questions I've got until I've properly healed

And by that she meant I had to go back to my room

I still didnt agree to go back to bed

I felt I was ready and strong enough to know more

Before I could ask my next question

My legs failed me and I was held up by bika who was now serving as my legs

Bika managed to drag me to bed and told me
When it's time to move she will let me know

While on the bed I could see Bika bring out a gun from her waist
Pulled out a bullet

Opened the bullet up and poured the contents into her bowl of leaves

That was All I saw before I passed out .

To be continued...
